Resize by width or height
Enter one dimension and keep the aspect ratio enabled to calculate the other dimension automatically. Enter both values and disable the ratio only when you intentionally need an exact crop-free stretch.
Resize JPG, PNG and WebP files to exact pixel dimensions, preserve the aspect ratio when needed, and convert batches to WebP, JPG or PNG without sending the images to our processing server.

WebP can provide smaller files than JPG or PNG for many web images. Browser support is broad, but your publishing system still needs to accept the format.
Process multiple images with the same settings, download individual results, or collect two or more completed images in a ZIP archive.
For a website hero image, start with the largest rendered width rather than the camera’s original resolution. Product thumbnails often need much smaller dimensions. WebP quality around 80–85% is commonly a reasonable balance, while screenshots with sharp text may need a higher value or PNG. JPG output fills transparent areas with white because the format has no alpha channel.
File size is influenced by dimensions, format, quality and visual complexity. A converted file can occasionally be larger than its source, especially when the source was already optimized. The results list shows the new dimensions and file size so you can compare before using the download.
The core resizing and conversion work runs locally in your browser. Selected images are not intentionally uploaded to a DevToolRoom image-processing server. The page may still load necessary site assets and, after applicable consent, analytics or advertising services described in the privacy policy.
WebP and PNG can preserve transparency. JPG cannot, so transparent pixels are filled with white when JPG output is selected.
No. Reducing dimensions usually helps, but output format, quality and image detail also affect file size. Compare each result with the original.
Canvas processing uses browser memory. The limit reduces the risk of a tab becoming unresponsive when an unusually large output is requested.
